The Scholarship Program Manager is responsible for the comprehensive administration and delivery of JMTP’s scholarship program. This individual will work closely with scholarship families, students and parents, to ensure that each athlete is receiving everything that is included in the scholarship and doing what is required of them as a scholarship recipient. The Manager will serve as a key liaison between families, JMTP staff, JMTA directors and coaches, and JMTP donors, ensuring excellence in program delivery, communication and reporting.

An ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and compassionate. Experience with high-level, junior tennis is a plus.

​This role requires occasional evening and weekend hours to attend events, night or weekend meetings or training sessions to support the organization, students and families as needed. Work location is at JMTP’s office at Sportime Randall’s Island.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong, supportive relationships with all scholarship recipients and families
• Ensure individualized scholarship programs are set up and managed, including scheduling private and group lessons, planning tournament scheduling, fitness training, academic support, and related logistics
• Track academic performance and school engagement, ensuring that players meet academic requirements and coordinate support where needed
• Work closely with JMTA directors and coaches to ensure that players are receiving appropriate support and training to meet their goalsMaintain accurate and timely records of attendance, progress and tournament results
• Collaborate with the Executive Director to align individual scholarship commitments with donor expectations
• Prepare and deliver regular updates and reports to scholarship underwriters and major donors
• Actively participate in fundraising efforts including planning and executing fundraising events and supporting donor cultivation
• Assist with broader JMTP programming, administrative, and organizational needs as they arise​

Required Qualifications:

• Two years’ relevant experience
• Relevant tennis experience
• Strong leadership and relationship-building skills
• Exceptional project management, data management, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills ​

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in sports management, education, physical education or other related field
• Personal experience playing competitive junior and/or collegiate tennis ​

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary of $70,000-80,000 annually
